In 2024, WACFL had 130 students qualify for the NCFL Grand National Tournament.  In Public Forum debate, WACFL teams occupied 3 of the 4 semi-final berths.   The teams of Daryan Tchoubineh & Alexios Eleftheriou from Sandy Spring Friends School, along with Vishwa Rakasi & Connor Chun and Ahaan Shah & Sahil Gubbi from Langley HS all reached the “final four” in a PF field of 174 teams.  Ultimately, the two Langley teams prevailed and earned the title 2024 NCFL Public Forum Debate Co-Champions, sharing 1st place honors.  Congratulations to the students and coaches from both Langley and Sandy Spring Friends Schools for this amazing achievement!
